“My vegetable love should grow
Vaster than empires”

This is a little chronicle of my adventures with mud and things that grow. Maybe also scavenging stories and foraging frolics.

The start of this coincides with being given the stewardship of  a little London garden, after years of horticultural frustration in a dark gardenless flat (years marked by the corpses of many short-lived herbs and vegetables – which were painstakingly coaxed into life, but quickly relinquished it with bitter resentment  – ‘call this a life?’)

So, to make up for lost time, I shall be trying to grow four years worth of vegetables in the next six months, trying lots of new things, enjoying the cooking and eating of said veg and revelling in the delights of unconstrained composting.

Hi – sorry it’s taken me a while to get in touch, but the email alerts to your amendments to the Doodle spreadsheet got stuck in Spam :(

You’re most welcome at Malvern. Can I just clarify you’ll be there on Friday night but are planning on being at the show on Saturday. Do you have your accommodation sorted? There’s links on the blog if you need help in finding some.

Also have you seen last week’s post about the half price ticket deal we have?

If you need to contact me directly about any of this, it’s best if you use:

Note the missing a in my surname – if you put it in, it’ll go to Marilyn in California instead.

Apologies for getting in touch this way but I couldn’t DM you.

Looking forward to hearing from you :)
